The Blues Freaks are a blues trio led by Austin, Texas-born singer and bassist John Duer. He is joined by Budy García on guitar and dobro, and Sepul Sepúlveda on drums. Together, the three musicians bring more than fifty years of stage experience.
The band draws on the old sounds of 1930s Mississippi Delta blues, bringing them into a contemporary setting. Their musical territory includes a range of blues styles as well as country. With three musicians, the performance centres on John Duer’s vocals, guitar and dobro, and a tight rhythm section.
The Blues Freaks released their first two albums, “I’LL TAKE THE BLAME…” and “TRY SOME OF THIS”, through Texas label Big Beard Records. In their first year together, they performed across much of Spain.
