A flute, guitar and drums trio blending jazz with Brazilian music, reworking jazz standards and melodies as samba and bossa nova.
Terreta Trio brings together jazz and Brazilian music in a live format suited to weddings, private celebrations and other events. The Barcelona-based trio features Guillem Payaró on flute, Xavier Vallés on guitar and Alberto Solé on drums.
The musicians reshape jazz standards and melodies with samba and bossa nova rhythms. Flute, guitar and drums create an intimate sound with a clear musical identity. Their influences include contemporary musicians Dani Gurgel and Gabriel Bruce, alongside established Brazilian references Antonio Carlos Jobim and João Gilberto.
The trio’s blend of jazz and Brazilian music can suit a wedding, a private event or a celebration looking for live music in a compact instrumental format. The combination of instruments offers a distinctive alternative for setting the mood during an event.
