Sunshine performs acoustic pop and rock favourites with vocals, guitar and piano, tailoring the set to each celebration.
Sunshine is a two-piece act for concerts and events seeking familiar songs in an acoustic setting. Patricia García Vargas sings and plays piano, double bass and other instruments. Francisco Javier Patricio Bordomás, known as Fran Patricio, sings and plays guitar, as well as bass, keyboard, harmonica and ukulele. The performance can centre on guitar and piano and be shaped around the event.
The duo performs live versions and can customise the song selection for ceremonies and celebrations. Its broad repertoire makes it possible to plan a set in advance and, on some occasions, change the running order or improvise a fresh selection around the audience's preferences. Sunshine also develops bespoke music projects and can be part of proposals involving other bands and instruments. Alongside performing, the musicians provide music education, with a school, course materials, presentations, talks and conferences.
The music spans pop and rock from different eras, with influences ranging from classical music and film soundtracks to soul and blues. Songs in the repertoire include “The Dock of the Bay”, “Nights in White Satin”, “The House of the Rising Sun”, “Wish You Were Here”, “Yesterday”, “Hijo de la Luna” and “No puedo vivir sin ti”.
Sunshine can perform at weddings, ceremonies, celebrations and concerts. The setup requires a 220V power supply and roughly four square metres for the musicians and equipment.
