Subcielo creates aerial dance and circus performances combining movement and acrobatics for indoor and outdoor events.
Subcielo is an aerial dance company whose artists come from a range of disciplines. It creates shows, interventions and performances for events, shaping each proposal around the venue and theme. Its work brings together expressive movement and aerial acrobatics to tell stories in the air and on the ground.
The company works with aerial silks, trapeze, hoop, pendulum flights, vertical dance and bungee techniques. Depending on the production, the cast may include dancers, actors, singers, musicians, acrobats, jugglers, stilt walkers and clowns. Subcielo also presents «El vuelo de Da Vinci», an aerial dance show designed for theatres or outdoor spaces.
Contemporary dance meets aerial acrobatics in performances with a dramatic and visual approach. Subcielo develops formats for different spaces and themes, making its work a possible feature for parties, celebrations and events looking for a live visual performance. For weddings, an aerial act can be planned as part of the celebration, depending on the venue.
The performance requires a space more than five metres high. The format and technical requirements need to be considered in light of the venue.
