Speed Limit Cruiser are a rock and roll trio with a distinctive stage image inspired by Second World War pilots. Pedro Cristóbal plays guitar and sings, Miguel Ángel “RockRocker” Reyes is on double bass and backing vocals, and Carlos Muñecas plays drums and sings backing vocals.
The live set combines original songs and covers, built around rock and roll with touches of rockabilly and punk rock. The band aims to get the crowd involved and deliver a raw, energetic performance. Their influences include Stray Cats, The Clash, Ramones, the Beatles, Rebeldes, Elvis and The Quakes.
Formed in 2012, the group brings together musicians with backgrounds in projects from the 1980s and 1990s. They have released three albums: “Go For Broke” (2014), “Rock and Roll Kamikaze” (2017) and “Times of Confusion (The Great Delusion)” (2018). Across those records, their sound moves from rock and roll towards power pop and punk rock.
