Spanish Eyes is a tribute band performing U2 songs live. With more than 15 years’ experience in this format, the group builds its show around the Irish band’s music and aims for a sound true to their style. They perform across Spain.
The line-up features Rafa Campos, Manu Lluch, César Alonso and Javi Cayuela. The arrangement brings together lead vocals, bass, guitar, backing vocals and drums, with sound equipment provided. It is a full-band concert format suited to presenting U2’s songs on stage.
The set draws on records from the debut album, Boy, through to Songs of Innocence. It gives particular attention to songs associated with The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby. U2 is the central influence, alongside British music from the past four decades.
The show can suit town festivals, live music programmes, private celebrations and corporate events for audiences keen to hear U2 performed live. It is a band tribute concert with vocals and a full instrumental line-up.
