Rap metal, political satire and sharp social criticism from Spanish duo DiaSexto and MasaDemocrata, who regularly work with Scila.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Sons of Aguirre are a rap metal duo made up of DiaSexto and MasaDemocrata, the stage names of David Saiz and Víctor Barroso. Their music mixes rap and metal with parody and political commentary, drawing on antifascist and anticapitalist ideas.
The project grew out of the two rappers’ musical collaboration, and they regularly work with the band Scila. Together they released the albums Azul/Rojo and Lo que ocurrió mientras mirabas a otro lado. Tracks in their repertoire include “Vete a Cuba”, “Bienvenido a España”, “Valley of the Fallen” and “Napalm de libre mercado”. Their writing can shift from comic satire to a more serious treatment of political themes.
Their blend of rap, metal and political humour may suit festivals and events looking for a pointed, satirical live act. The audience and the event’s programme are useful factors to consider when planning a booking.
