Siberia are an Andalusian hard rock band whose set brings together original material and covers of classic tracks from the 1970s and 1980s. The current five-piece line-up features Fidel Suárez and Pablo Morán on guitars, Luís Miguel García on bass, Javier Barroso on drums and Héctor Núñez on vocals. They suit events looking for a guitar-led rock performance, from town fiestas to concert programmes.
The set balances Siberia’s own songs with classics associated with bands such as Whitesnake and Deep Purple. Two guitars, bass, drums and vocals give the performance a full hard rock band sound.
With nearly three decades of activity in Andalusia, Siberia have shared bills with Sangre Azul, Ñu and Shalom. They won the first TintoRock Huelva demo competition and came second in two national New Bands contests. The band also contributed two tracks apiece to the compilations Al Calor de tu Música and Stop Heroin. They resumed activity in 2013 and are preparing new material.
