A two-musician act featuring handpan, acoustic guitar, djembe and didgeridoo, with a distinctive, hypnotic sound.
Setsun is a duo formed by two friends and musicians, bringing together acoustic instruments in a distinctive live set. The handpan provides an upbeat, hypnotic sound, with acoustic guitar accompanying it throughout.
The musicians also play djembe and didgeridoo. These instruments add different tones and rhythms to the acoustic performance, built around the interplay between percussion, melody and accompaniment.
The handpan is central to Setsun’s style, with an evocative quality that can create a calm, intimate atmosphere. Acoustic guitar provides a continuous backing, complemented by the rhythmic textures of the djembe and didgeridoo.
This format may suit celebrations and gatherings looking for live acoustic music with an unusual instrumental combination. Setsun performs as a two-musician act.
