Classical guitar for a recital or background music, with a programme tailored to the occasion.
Classical guitarist Sergio González offers two performance formats: a recital or background music. His guitar can accompany a dinner, celebration or event where an elegant, warm sound is wanted. He is studying at the Málaga Higher Conservatory and has played concerts and private events.
The programme can be adapted to the event and its audience. Choose a focused guitar concert or music to sit gently in the background. Repertoire can also be agreed with the client in advance.
His programme centres on classical music, including works by Bach, Tárrega and Villa-Lobos. Where it suits the occasion, he can add arrangements of more recent or familiar pieces while keeping a thoughtful musical style. Past settings include celebrations, birthdays, restaurants and the Baños del Carmen.
The format can suit weddings, dinners, private events, hotels and restaurants. Sergio mainly works in Málaga and can consider travel depending on the event. The performance requires a quiet space, an armless chair and time to prepare and tune the instrument. For outdoor events, shelter should be available. He also teaches guitar to players at different levels.
