Santi Cruz blends flamenco guitar and electronic music in an elegant, laid-back set of original and popular pieces.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Santi Cruz brings together flamenco guitar and electronic music for a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. The performance can provide a considered musical backdrop for a drinks reception, private celebration or corporate event where guests should be able to talk while enjoying the music.
Santi Cruz can perform on guitar or as a DJ. In the combined format, live guitar works with electronic backing to create an instrumental set that sits between a concert and a DJ performance. The stage presentation is simple, and the sound equipment is intended for audiences of up to 150 people. The technical requirements include a 220V power supply.
The music features original compositions alongside popular pieces. Flamenco styles include farruca, tarantos, tangos and tientos, set over a chill-out foundation. His influences span several musical traditions, with Vicente Amigo, Paco de Lucía, Caetano Veloso, Djavan and Boris Brejcha among the references.
The blend of guitar and electronics can suit weddings, drinks receptions, private functions and corporate events looking for flamenco character in their background music. Santi Cruz has worked as a solo guitarist, DJ and event organiser, with ten years of experience at flamenco events.
