Sanguijuelas del Guadiana are an Extremaduran band made up of Juan, Carlos and Víctor, three friends from Casas de Don Pedro in Badajoz. Their music draws on a rural identity and everyday storytelling, delivered with a strong sense of connection to the crowd. The group may suit local festivals, private celebrations and events looking for a band with a distinctive character.
The trio blend rock, rumba, punk and popular musical elements. Their live shows pair lively performances and humour with lyrics rooted in daily life, irony and familiar references. Southern musical traditions meet an alternative rock edge, giving the set a festive feel while keeping its Extremaduran identity.
Their debut album, Revolá, was released in 2025. Songs associated with the band include “100 Amapolas”, “Septiembre”, “Llevadme a mi Extremadura” and “Jaribe”. Word of mouth, social media and the response to their live performances have helped them grow. They have more than 316,000 monthly listeners and over 131,000 followers.
The mix of rock, regional roots and humour makes Sanguijuelas del Guadiana a candidate for public festivities, festivals and celebrations seeking familiar songs and a crowd-focused live set. Their suitability for weddings or corporate events can be discussed when enquiring about the performance format.
