Rumba i Festa is a five-piece band performing rumba, pop, ballads and boleros live. Its engaging show invites guests to join in and dance, making it a good fit for celebrations with a mix of ages.
Founder Mero Malla began playing guitar with rumba groups at 15 and learned the style from Peret. After an artistic career spanning almost 30 years, he formed and now leads Rumba i Festa. The line-up features Christian Malla on percussion and vocals, Ivan Santa on keyboards, Toni Reyes on bass, Jonathan Malla on guitar and vocals, and Mero Malla on guitar and vocals. The musicians have more than 15 years of experience performing on stages across Europe, America and Asia.
The band has more than 60 songs, including material associated with Gipsy Kings, Los Manolos, Melendi, Peret and Estopa, alongside current covers and popular songs such as “Ovi Ova”, “Amor de mis amores” and “Porompompero”.
The live show can suit weddings, family gatherings, private parties and other events looking for rumba and well-known songs. The band provides cabling, sound equipment, microphones, instruments and lighting, and requires a 220 V power socket.
