Rumba Family is a seven-piece group playing flamenco, Catalan and gipsy rumba for celebrations and live events.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Rumba Family brings a live blend of flamenco, Catalan and gipsy rumba from Tenerife. The seven-piece band offers a dance-friendly show for weddings, local fiestas, festivals, concerts and private events.
Guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, percussion and vocals shape the group’s sound. The line-up features Darian De Vroom, Miguel A. Castro, Román Benítez, José Rodríguez, Luis Moyano, Adriano Porcheddu and Ricardo A. Rodríguez. Lead guitarist Luis Moyano also performs instrumental pieces.
The set includes more than 20 songs spanning flamenco, Catalan and gipsy rumba. Named examples include “Bamboleo”, “Volare”, “Djobi Djoba” and “Amor de mis Amores”. Their influences draw on the roots of the genre and its best-known hits. The group formed in Tenerife and, after a month together, won first prize in the Musical Groups category at the 15th Granadilla Young Talents Festival in 2025.
The band can suit weddings, local fiestas, festivals, concerts and private events. Set-up requires a space of at least 7 by 5 metres, power outlets, and between 90 minutes and two hours for set-up and soundcheck. For large events, the organiser provides the sound system and backline. For smaller private events, the band’s own sound system may be arranged at an additional cost. For travel outside Tenerife, the organiser covers transport, accommodation and meals.
