Spanish urban rock led by Rulo’s unmistakable raspy voice, backed by a five-piece band.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Rulo y La Contrabanda bring Spanish rock to festivals, weddings and company events. Fronted by Raúl Gutiérrez, known as Rulo, the band pairs his distinctive raspy vocals with direct, poetic lyrics about life and relationships.
The line-up features Rulo on lead vocals, Karlos Arancegui on drums, Enrique Mavilla on bass, and Dani Baraldés and Adolfo Garmendia on guitars. The project began in 2010, following Rulo’s time with La Fuga. The band has released five albums, including Señales de humo and 5.
Their urban rock sound is built around songs about love, heartbreak and everyday experience. Familiar titles include «La cabecita loca», «Noviembre», «Heridas de Rock&Roll», «Por Morder Tus Labios», «Mi Cenicienta» and «32 escaleras».
They are a strong choice for town festivals, concerts, private celebrations and corporate events looking for a live rock set with original songs and a distinctive lead voice.
