Story-led dance productions spanning Latin and ballroom styles, jazz, urban dance and optional live music.
Royal Latin Creations stages choreographed productions that tell a story through movement alone, with no dialogue. The company offers small, medium and large-scale versions, with the format shaped around the venue and the client’s requirements.
The programme can bring together ballroom and Latin dance with modern styles, jazz, contemporary, salsa, urban dance and musical theatre. Depending on the production, singers and musicians can perform live. The staging uses costumes, props, lighting and sound. It calls for a large stage, with dancer access from several sides, including through the audience.
Founder Rubén Rodríguez is an international dancer and choreographer with more than 25 years’ experience. He has twice won the Spanish Latin dance championship, reached the final eleven times, won the South European title and been a finalist at the Blackpool Dance Festival. He also reached the WDSF world top ten and worked as a professional dancer and choreographer on the television programme Bailando con las Estrellas.
The productions are designed for theatres, ships, casinos and hotels, as well as cruises, parties, galas and awards ceremonies.
The scale can be matched to the venue; the technical setup includes a large stage, professional lighting and access from the sides and audience area.
