Rosstown performs soul, funk, blues and rock covers for events, as a four-piece or, when required, a five-piece band.
Rosstown are a covers band bringing together soul, funk, blues and rock. The usual line-up is a four-piece, with the option to expand to five musicians. Their polished live style suits events looking for familiar songs across a range of genres.
The four-piece consists of a singer, guitar, bass and drums, with backing vocals from the bassist and drummer. For events that call for it, the band can add keyboards and even a brass section, creating a five-piece set-up. The format can be considered in light of the event’s requirements.
The repertoire includes songs associated with Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, AC/DC, Tom Jones, Janis Joplin and Tracy, among others. The mix of genres can work for parties, weddings and corporate events seeking a live covers band.
