Political rapcore bringing Los Chikos del Maíz and Habeas Corpus together in a rock edged set with outspoken lyrics.
Book Riot Propaganda for festivals and events
Riot Propaganda brings together Los Chikos del Maíz and Habeas Corpus in a political rapcore project. Their live show combines the force of hip hop with a harder, rock leaning sound and lyrics with a clear critical edge. It suits audiences looking for a concert with a strong point of view.
A meeting of rap and rock
The project pairs Los Chikos del Maíz, featuring Nega, Toni el Sucio and DJ Bokah, with Habeas Corpus, a band active since 1993 with twelve albums released. Their songs address political and social themes, draw on Spanish popular culture and express antifascist views alongside criticism of capitalism.
Music and background
Riot Propaganda released the albums Riot Propaganda (2013) and Agenda Oculta (2017). Tracks associated with the project include “Plata o plomo”, “Cambiarlo todo”, “Guerras púnicas”, “Bienvenido al paraíso”, “Le llaman Paz”, “La Huelga” and “Danzad Malditos”. Los Chikos del Maíz have also toured Venezuela and Colombia and worked with Habeas Corpus on La Estanquera de Saigón and Agenda Oculta.
