Five-piece original rock band blending diverse influences, with a forceful live show featuring projection, samples and vocal effects.
Resurgidos are a five-piece rock band with a distinctive set of original songs. Their lyrics are thoughtful, contemporary and emotional, with some lighter, more playful moments too. The band puts its energy into a powerful live performance designed to hold the audience’s attention.
The line-up features guitar, bass and vocals, drums, keyboards with effects, and lead vocals. Images can accompany the performance via a projector, while a sampler triggers additional sounds and a vocal effects pedal shapes the voice. Their usual equipment includes drums and amplifiers for bass, guitar and keyboards. Power and sound desk requirements, along with which equipment is supplied, are agreed for each event.
Their sound draws on rock, punk, pop, flamenco and psychedelia. Named influences include CAN, The Doors, El Columpio Asesino and Javier Corcobado. These varied references come together in original material rather than a covers set.
They are a good fit for events looking for live original rock, a full band and a performance that can include projected imagery and electronic effects.
