Rayband are a four-piece covers band from Madrid, formed in 2016. The line-up features Alberto Maroto on lead vocals and guitar, Luis Sastre on bass, vocals and guitar, José Luis López on keyboards and vocals, and Javier Gómez on drums. Their lively live set can run for more than two hours.
The band can provide its own sound system for medium-sized audiences, including two screens, two subwoofers and a digital mixing desk. The standard lighting includes two spotlights and an RGB LED bubble effect. Additional sound and lighting equipment, technicians and musicians can also be arranged. A female vocalist is available for selected events as lead or backing singer. The setup needs a suitable mains power supply.
The repertoire spans Spanish music from the 1970s to the 2000s, with a few more recent songs, alongside rock hits in English from across the decades. Artists covered include Miguel Ríos, Los Secretos, La Guardia, Danza Invisible, Maná, Nacha Pop, Hombres G, mClan, Fito & Fitipaldis, Alaska and others.
Rayband’s live pop-rock format suits weddings, company events, birthdays and parties, from wedding receptions to conference venues.
