Rainbow Gospel Choir blends contemporary gospel, spirituals and pop covers for weddings, concerts and celebrations.
Rainbow Gospel Choir brings a gospel vocal set to weddings, concerts, social celebrations and corporate events. Founded in 2007, it was the first choir of its kind in the Canary Islands. Expect close harmonies and a live performance with an expressive, upbeat feel.
The choir features nine singers: three sopranos, three altos and three tenors. Its technical requirements include microphones, stage monitors and a computer or player that can handle CD or USB audio.
The set draws on contemporary gospel, spirituals and gospel standards, alongside pop songs arranged in a gospel style. Songs include “Oh Happy Day”, “When the Saints Go Marching In” and “This Little Light of Mine”, as well as “Let It Be”, “We Are the World”, “September”, “Walking on Sunshine”, “No Dudaría” and “Roar”. The choir also explores R&B, pop, tango, dance and salsa influences.
The format can work for a wedding ceremony or reception, theatre and concert programmes, and social or corporate occasions looking for live vocal music.
