Pumuky Circo Chisme is Raúl Juárez’s solo company; he is known as Pumuky. Its street show, «Espera un momento…!!», brings circus and comedy together in an interactive performance for all ages. The show runs for one hour.
The performance features balancing acts and juggling on rollers, as well as tightrope walking on a cable. Comedy runs through the show, with opportunities for audience participation. The company also offers circus and comedy performances, street theatre, balancing, juggling and balloon modelling.
Raúl Juárez became interested in circus in 1998, first teaching himself before attending workshops and seminars. He later spent two years training at Escuela de Circo Carampa. After working solo and taking part in shows and street parades with Kolectivo Zoa, he formed Pumuky Circo Chisme in 2010. Alicia Escarda is part of the technical team.
