An interactive theatre activity for children featuring traditional tales, music games, rhythm and movement.
ProduccionesdeBolsillo offers a theatrical activity for children built around traditional tales. Actors take on the story’s characters and bring the scenes to life, with children becoming part of what happens. It suits organisers planning a cultural programme for young audiences and looking for a performance that invites them to join in.
Once the tales have finished, the session moves into musical, rhythmic and movement games. This combines acted storytelling with activities in which children can take part. The format can be adapted to different spaces, making it suitable for events held in a range of venues.
This is not a conventional storytelling session. The performers embody the characters and take the children through different situations and settings. The activity then continues with music, rhythm and body-expression games.
Traditional tales provide the starting point. The proposal focuses on the quality of the content, a flexible format and children’s participation.
