Intimate vocal jazz with flexible line-ups, from a voice-and-guitar duo to a quartet with saxophone or double bass.
Polka Dots Jazz Band brings intimate vocal jazz to weddings and celebrations where live music should shape the atmosphere. Its flexible line-up can also suit private parties and corporate occasions looking for a smaller-scale jazz sound.
The group can perform as a voice-and-guitar duo, a trio adding saxophone, or a quartet with double bass. Each option offers a different sound, allowing the format to suit the space and feel of the occasion.
The set is built around vocal jazz standards and also includes covers of later music, given a jazz feel by the band’s musicians.
The project features Carmen Alcolea, Sylvain Rouviere, Germán Villegas and Dani Levy.
