Solo singer for events, performing pop, soul and rock in five languages, either acoustically or with backing tracks.
Pilar San Miguel is a solo singer who shapes each performance around the room and its audience. She can sing acoustically or with backing tracks, bringing together expressive vocals, warmth and energy. Her experience includes performances in small and medium-sized venues, as well as cocktail receptions and award ceremonies.
The set is built mainly around covers, with some original songs available. Pilar links the music with a connecting theme and shares brief insights into the songs and their subject matter. The mood can move from gentler moments to more energetic numbers, with the selection tailored to the occasion.
Her repertoire spans pop, soul, traditional rock, heavy rock, melodic music and singer-songwriter material. She sings in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Italian. Her influences include Ana Belén, ABBA, Queen, Mecano, Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin and Adele. She also plays Spanish and acoustic guitar, percussion and transverse flute. Her equipment includes speakers, a microphone, acoustic guitar, lights and a mixing desk; she requires a power socket and a small side table.
This solo format can work well at cocktail receptions, award ceremonies, venue concerts and private celebrations. It may also suit weddings and parties looking for live music across several styles and languages.
