Contemporary magic in close-up, drinks reception, parlour and stage formats, tailored to the setting and delivered with an elegant touch.
Pedro Parra Magic creates contemporary magic for private occasions, businesses and institutions. Each performance is shaped around the setting, audience and pace of the event, with a polished, grown-up tone. He can also host proceedings, bringing the timing and sense of surprise of a magician to the role.
Close-up magic unfolds just inches from the audience, while strolling magic brings the performance to guests across a drinks reception. Parlour and stage shows offer a shared experience with their own presence and narrative. Bespoke pieces can also be created for a brand, a particular moment or a celebration.
The approach centres on mystery and emotion, with careful attention to detail and no reliance on easy laughs or unnecessary visual frills. His background in design, photography and visual communication informs the look and storytelling of the performance. He performs fluently in Spanish, English and German, making the act suitable for international and multilingual gatherings.
His performance venues include Teatro Alfil and the Auditorio Nacional. He trained at the Gran Escuela de Magia Ana Tamariz with Juan Tamariz and Jorge Blass, and also teaches there. In 2025, Jorge Blass presented him with the New Magic Talent award, and he was selected for the Ascanio Memorial; he was selected again in 2026.
The formats suit drinks receptions, corporate events, private celebrations and institutional occasions. Close-up and strolling magic need a suitable setting and ambient light. Parlour or stage performances typically use a wireless microphone, an performance table and basic sound, or can work with the venue's equipment. Based in Madrid, he travels across Spain and abroad.
