Malala Ricoy blends comedy, circus and audience participation in two shows for adults and all ages.
Malala Ricoy brings two stage shows to events as Patty Diphusa: a family friendly circus comedy and an adults only cabaret with a focus on sexual health education. Depending on the chosen format, her work can also include acrobatics, aerial skills or fire performance.
Patty Diphusa: Hartista Contemporánea is suitable for all ages. It combines acrobatics and dance with a giant balloon routine in which the performer climbs inside. The show lasts between 50 minutes and one hour. The balloon routine needs a smooth, level stage at least 8 × 4 metres, with a minimum height clearance of four metres; if the space is lower, that routine is removed for safety.
Sexo Seguro ¿Seguro? ¡Seguro! is for adults. It mixes stand-up, cabaret and balloon games, involving the audience while taking a cheeky look at love, sex and contraception. It needs a stage measuring at least 4 × 2 metres.
Ricoy trained in clowning and performing arts, then studied circus disciplines including trapeze, aerial silks, eccentric acrobatics, mime and juggling. She has also worked as a compère and in live entertainment. The shows suit community celebrations, family programmes, cabaret nights and adult events, with the format chosen to match the audience.
