Paradox Circus blends seventies-inspired blues rock, original songs and reworked covers with a classic circus-inspired stage show.
Paradox Circus is an unconventional blues-rock band created and fronted by Jessica Brizio. Their live set pairs powerful playing and poetic lyrics with a classic circus-inspired look, giving the stage a distinctive character.
Jessica Brizio sings, Luiz Zamprogna plays guitar, Vice Giménez is on bass and Seba “Drummer” plays drums. Their sound draws on 1970s blues rock while bringing in modern textures. The members come from Africa, the Americas and Mediterranean Europe.
The set moves between original material and reworked songs from blues and rock artists. Original titles include “Slave of the Night”, “Who's Gonna Stop the Van”, “Wild and Proud”, “My Precious Treasure”, “No Place for Us” and “House of Fun”. They also reinterpret songs associated with Meniketti, Whitesnake and James Brown, among others. An energetic, playful stage presence runs through both the originals and the covers.
Paradox Circus can suit concerts, parties and events looking for a blues-rock band with a strong visual identity. The mix of original songs and covers brings variety to the performance.
