Butterfly's Dreams blends classical dance and trapeze in a poetic performance inspired by a butterfly's flight.
Butterfly's Dreams is a performance created and performed by Pamela Democrito. It is a piece of poetic circus in which movement and imagery tell a story inspired by a butterfly's dream.
The show brings classical dance techniques together with trapeze work. Its central idea is transformation: a butterfly frees its essence, opens its wings and sets off on a brief flight that, within the dream, seems eternal. Colour, beauty and life shape the stage imagery.
This is a visual, poetic performance centred on one performer and two movement disciplines: classical dance and trapeze. It suits circus programmes looking for a delicate, narrative piece, as well as private celebrations seeking a distinctive stage performance.
