Paloma Gonzalvo performs Latin favourites as Mixtura, a voice-and-guitar duo, or with the six-piece band Suena el Bembé.
Paloma Gonzalvo presents two live Latin music formats: Mixtura, a voice-and-guitar duo, and Suena el Bembé, a six-piece band. Choose the more intimate sound of the duo for elegant occasions, or the fuller line-up for a rhythmic, dance-friendly celebration.
Mixtura brings together Paloma’s vocals and Santi Huguet’s guitar. Its repertoire spans boleros, rancheras, rumba, Cuban son, huapangos and cumbia, with well-known Latin folk songs and Mexican classics at its heart.
Suena el Bembé features six musicians on vocals, piano, double bass, saxophone, congas and timbales. The set combines Latin classics with original songs, shaping an Afro-Cuban sound with touches of funk and jazz. Salsa and son add to the tropical feel and give the performance its lively, danceable character.
Mixtura can provide a warm, elegant soundtrack for wedding drinks receptions and private celebrations. Suena el Bembé suits fiestas patronales, corporate events and parties where guests can dance. Both projects began touring the Valencian Community in 2021.
