Otavaband is a five-piece live band performing progressive pop-rock classics from the 1980s, alongside original music.
Otavaband is an international covers band founded in Valencia, bringing the major progressive pop-rock songs of the 1980s back to the stage. It can suit weddings, town festivals, corporate functions, private celebrations, festivals and themed evenings where familiar classics help set the mood.
All five musicians play each concert live, with no backing tracks. The show features technically demanding arrangements, a full sound and an energetic stage presence. It is designed for dedicated fans of the original bands as well as wider audiences who know the songs.
The repertoire includes music associated with Toto, Genesis, Foreigner, Supertramp, Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, Europe, Rainbow, Gary Moore and Bryan Adams. The band has also begun releasing original music, extending its work beyond covers.
Otavaband can perform at hotels, restaurants, live music venues and clubs, as well as corporate and private events. It is also a fitting choice for festivals and themed nights built around 1980s classics. The full-band format works well when you want a live concert with recognisable songs.
