A Brazilian music trio bringing samba, bossa nova and a theatrical stage show to celebrations and events.
This trio presents a Brazilian music show shaped by a distinctive, theatrical stage approach. Alongside the music, the performance can include spoken passages, poetry, instrumental interludes, percussion sections and anecdotes about Brazil’s musical history. The changing pace makes it suitable for events looking for both a relaxed atmosphere and livelier moments.
Miguel Jerez provides vocals, melodica and percussion; Daniel de Andrés plays acoustic guitar and percussion; and Álvaro García “Pichu” is on drums and percussion. Their repertoire spans samba, bossa nova, forró, maracatú, Bahian batucada and Afro-Brazilian traditions. They also rework familiar international pop and rock songs in samba or bossa nova arrangements.
Brazilian favourites in the set include “Garota de Ipanema”, “Chega de Saudade”, “Água de Beber”, “Mais Que Nada” and “Trem das Onze”. The group came together in Valladolid in 2016, formed by fellow music students.
The performance can suit weddings, private parties, corporate events and public celebrations. Its range of styles offers options for a more intimate musical setting or a more festive section of the event. Share details of the venue and occasion when discussing the right format.
