Professional classical singers and musicians for weddings, events and family shows featuring opera, zarzuela and sacred music.
Operaytu brings together professional classical singers and musicians for performances that introduce classical music to audiences of different ages. The group can provide music for civil or religious weddings, drinks receptions, corporate dinners, anniversaries and private celebrations. It also offers concerts and shows for children and families.
Options include soloists with piano or organ, as well as sacred music for soloists, choir and chamber orchestra. The repertoire spans opera, zarzuela, operetta, canzonettas, Spanish chamber songs, lieder and sacred music. Lighter programmes can include habaneras, melodic songs and tangos.
Children’s and family productions include «El Hada Ópera y sus amigos», «Aventuras y desventuras de la soprano Puri» and «El mágico elixir». Operaytu also presents adaptations of works such as «La Traviata», «Don Pasquale» and «L'elisir d'amore». These shows can involve the audience, with guests invited to sing, act or dance alongside the performers.
Operaytu suits wedding ceremonies, receptions, corporate meals and dinners, cultural programmes and events for children. Its performers have taken part in productions at Barcelona’s Liceu and Madrid’s Teatro Real. The group made its debut in 2007 at a sacred music cycle organised by the Community of Madrid, and has performed in Madrid, Ciudad Real and Ceuta.
