A four-piece rock band with four vocalists, faithful classics from the 60s onwards, sung in Basque, English and Spanish.
Old Glasses are a four-piece rock band featuring rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass and drums. All four members sing, giving the set a range of vocals. Their performances focus on familiar songs played in arrangements that stay close to the original recordings.
The band has more than five hours of material to choose from, selecting songs to suit the venue and concert. The repertoire covers rock classics from the 1960s to the present, with songs in Basque, English and Spanish. Its set list includes tracks such as “Smoke on the Water”, “Sultans of Swing”, “La casa por el tejado” and “Maneras de vivir”.
Old Glasses aim to retain the character of the songs they cover, so audiences can recognise them from the opening bars. Their choices draw on the music by Spanish and international artists that has shaped the band members over the years.
The live rock format can suit town fiestas, private parties, company events and other celebrations looking for a full band. The mix of eras and languages gives organisers scope to appeal to guests with different musical tastes.
