Nena Daconte, Mai Meneses’ musical project, brings Spanish pop and well-known songs such as “Tenía tanto que darte” to live events.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Nena Daconte is the musical project of singer and songwriter Mai Meneses. Her Spanish pop catalogue makes the act a natural option for events looking for familiar songs and a distinctive voice. To book Nena Daconte, share your date and event details to discuss the available performance format.
The project began in 2006 as a duo with musician and producer Kim Fanlo. Early songs included “En qué estrella estará” and “Marta”. “Tenía tanto que darte”, from the 2008 album “Retales de Carnaval”, went on to become one of her best-known tracks. Other songs associated with that record include “El Aleph” and “Ay amor”.
Later releases include “Un mosca en el cristal”, “Solo muerdo por ti”, “Suerte” and the 2023 album “Casi perfecto”. Recent work includes “Si te vas” with Alberto Jiménez of Miss Caffeina, “Tu canción” with Celia Becks, and music for the film “Vacaciones de verano”.
Her catalogue can suit town fiestas, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations seeking Spanish pop with songs familiar to a broad audience. The proposed format can be discussed around the needs of each event.
