Músic Mec brings music, games and movement together in family shows featuring children’s songs in a range of styles.
We are a booking agency for events, not the artist's team. We work with organisers: festivals, councils, companies, venues and weddings.
Músic Mec is a project led by Damià Payeras, a musician and entertainer with more than 15 years’ experience in musical activities for children. The show brings songs, games and movement together, encouraging young audiences to join in while families can enjoy it too. Damià has taken part in more than 400 performances in the Balearic Islands.
Music sets the scene for singing, playing and moving along. The format is designed especially for children and schools, and can suit different settings, from libraries and squares to school celebrations.
The repertoire includes school songs, traditional children’s favourites and Christmas songs. Arrangements draw on rumba, ska, country, jazz, pop rock, swing, reggae and Afro-Latin rhythms. Songs include «La Lluna la Pruna», «Sol Solet», «El Gegant del Pi», «Joan Petit Quan Balla», «Soy una Taza» and «Santa nit».
Músic Mec is a good fit for school parties, Christmas light switch-ons, library and square events, carnivals and All Souls’ celebrations. The show also works for Christmas gatherings looking for an engaging family activity.
