Modestia Aparte are a Madrid pop band led by singer and songwriter Fernando López. Their career began in 1986 with the album Por amor al arte, and their songs remain familiar to audiences who grew up with Spanish pop in the nineties. Their live show brings well-known tracks to the stage for audiences across generations.
The band has gone through several line-up changes over the years. In the new chapter that began in 2002, Fernando López remained at the helm with a new group of musicians. The performance centres on the band's Spanish pop catalogue and songs made for singing along.
Tracks associated with the band include “Cosas de la edad”, “Como te mueves”, “Es por tu amor”, “Chirimoya” and “Dime que me quieres”. Their sound sits firmly within Spanish pop.
