Mnemofobia bring Heavy and Thrash Metal to the stage with original songs and covers of Metallica, Pantera, Slayer and Zenobia.
Mnemofobia are a four-piece band from Cáceres. Edu Mateos plays rhythm guitar and sings, Nacho Márquez is on lead guitar, Manu Márquez plays bass and sings, and Antonio Dionisio is on drums. Their live set pairs original material with metal classics, drawing on the sound of the 1980s.
The repertoire features original songs alongside covers by Metallica, Pantera, Slayer and Zenobia. Their own material includes «Mi generación», «Sombras del pasado» and «Principio y fin». Covers include «Enter Sandman», «For Whom The Bell Tolls», «Cowboys From Hell» and «Dead Skin Mask».
The band brings its own drum kit and guitar and bass amplification: two Marshall 4x12 cabinets with 100-watt Marshall heads, plus a 180-watt Behringer combo for bass. The event’s technical requirements can be discussed when arranging the booking.
Mnemofobia suit festivals, local celebrations and events looking for a live metal set that mixes original music with familiar covers. They have played across Extremadura, Salamanca, Ávila and Madrid, and were finalists at VentuRock’14 and semi-finalists at Incubamusic. In 2014, they recorded the EP «Principio y fin», featuring three original tracks.
