Book Mi Rosa de los Vientos for participatory falconry displays at weddings, festivals and cultural events.
Mi Rosa de los Vientos offers educational, cultural and interactive falconry with birds of prey. The team works with between 12 and 14 birds, depending on the season. Its collection includes eagle owls, a snowy owl, falcons, Harris’s hawks, a barn owl, tawny owls, little owls and kestrels.
Shows last between 30 and 50 minutes and invite adults and children to take part. Other options include processions, medieval marquees and fantasy-themed settings. A falconer’s corner can introduce visitors to the history of falconry through equipment, books and demonstrations, including caper hood-making workshops. Sound and audiovisual equipment can also be supplied where needed.
The team draws on medieval and traditional training texts and aims to preserve falconry as a cultural practice. The birds are socialised and cared for throughout the activity, with animal welfare and protection rules observed. Other animals, such as miniature goats, ferrets and geese, can also be included for display.
These formats can suit weddings, medieval markets, festivals, openings, children’s workshops, environmental education sessions, photo shoots, film work, parades and photocalls. Birds can also take part in a wedding ring presentation. The team works across Spain’s autonomous communities and can adapt the setting to different themes.
