MEGÒC brings together over 100 singers and a live band for a gospel, pop and rock concert.
MEGÒC, Modern Espai Gòspel Cor, is a large-scale choral concert featuring more than 100 performers. The singers perform across a four-tier staging structure up to 10 metres wide, creating a striking visual centrepiece for events looking for live music with real scale.
The vocal sections include sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. A professional band accompanies them on drums, electric bass, electric guitar and keyboards. The musical director also plays tenor saxophone. Sets can run for up to two hours.
The set spans songs from the 1960s to the present day. Gospel and soul sit alongside hits associated with Michael Jackson, Jon Bon Jovi, Aretha Franklin and Joe Cocker, as well as “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “I’m So Excited” and newer material by Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles.
MEGÒC has performed across the Safor and Marina Alta and completed several tours with record audience figures. Its large ensemble may suit festivals, corporate events and private celebrations with ample capacity, as well as weddings with enough room for the choir and band. The technical setup includes staging; sound equipment is optional.
