An interactive dog show featuring agility, rescue dogs and demonstrations of assistance and therapy work.
Mastercan Show introduces audiences to a range of canine disciplines through lively demonstrations that involve both adults and children. The team comprises professionals from Burgos who have worked in the dog sector for more than ten years. Their performance combines entertainment with an introduction to the skills dogs can develop and the ways they can work alongside people.
The show can feature agility exercises, challenges, dogs trained for film and television, and demonstrations connected with security, assistance and therapy. Rescue dogs may also take part. Audience members are invited to join in at various points, while the performers present different disciplines and activities that can be practised with dogs.
The team includes dog handlers, a presenter and a trainer specialising in assistance and therapy dogs. Depending on the show, between 7 and 15 dogs take part. Equipment can include tunnels, hurdles, boxes, baskets, goals and balls.
The performance requires a minimum area of 20 by 20 metres, marked out with barriers or tape, and a 220 V power supply. The team has adapted vehicles for transporting the animals and professional sound equipment.
This family-friendly format suits local festivals and celebrations looking for a visual activity with audience participation, within the animal show category.
