Masoko Tanga are a trio from Valladolid paying tribute to The Police. The members have known one another since the mid-1990s and have played together in various local bands. Their shared interest in The Police led them to put together a set of the group’s songs for live performance.
David de la Plaza plays guitar and provides backing vocals, Marco Leonato handles bass and lead vocals, and Diego Martín is on drums. The arrangement centres on guitar, bass, voice and drums, with the tracks prepared and recorded using digital tools ahead of the live show.
The set is dedicated to The Police. The trio format makes Masoko Tanga a live tribute option for parties, private celebrations and events looking for music from a particular band. Their shared history in local line-ups informs a performance built around songs by The Police.
