Barcelona-born Marc Virgili performs solo, with a musical approach, clear sound and a distinctive style. The show moves through different rhythms and musical styles without conventional instruments. Markooz has worked professionally as a beatboxer since 2005 and became Spain’s first beatbox champion. In 2009 he ranked among the world’s top eight beatbox artists, then placed in Europe’s top ten in 2013 and 2014. He also created the “inward bass” sound, earning recognition in the international beatbox community.
He has performed across Spain and in countries including Portugal, France, Germany, the UK, Japan and Switzerland. He is also a member of Proyecto Mediavilla, a Barcelona singer-songwriter group.
The venue needs a PA system of at least 1,500 W, one microphone line, a Shure SM58 microphone and two stage monitors. Allow 15 minutes for a soundcheck. In highly reverberant venues, in-ear monitoring is considered. The client covers travel and accommodation costs.
