A circus-style memory and mind-reading act shaped by audience-submitted words and live requests.
Mario Larrea Larri presents NEMO11, a circus-inspired performance combining memory skills and mentalism. It begins with a walkabout that invites the audience to contribute words for a numbered list. Suggestions can be long, technical, compound, unusual or simply chosen for their beauty.
The list can contain more than 120 words. Mario then demonstrates his recall by revealing entries in the order requested by the audience. They can call for individual numbers, even or odd entries, forward or reverse sequences, or specific columns; requests can also focus on prime or non-prime numbers. The act ends with the remaining words revealed in a dramatic circus-style scene.
This is a live, participatory performance: guests can contribute words and decide how they are recalled. Its roots lie in the circus world, and it revives a type of act that is now rarely seen.
NEMO11 can complement variety shows and street festivals. It can also feature at convention dinners or weddings looking for an interactive mentalism performance.
