Family magic and comedy with audience participation, performed in Spanish or Basque.
Mago Hodei presents family shows where magic and comedy go hand in hand. The company is based in Pamplona and consists of illusionist Hodei Domingo, stage manager and assistant Leire Tejero, and sound and lighting technician Erik Aldaz. Performances are available in Spanish and Basque.
There are small and medium-scale formats for private celebrations, as well as productions for town festivals, multipurpose venues, cultural centres and theatres. The show can also be tailored to an event. It may include spoken or musical magic, with children and adults taking part on stage or from their seats. The company supplies a 1,000-watt sound system. For theatre performances, it brings a simple lighting plan that can be adapted to the venue’s equipment.
Original magic routines are paired with humour and a selection of familiar songs. The company has toured its own productions since 2009, including performances in towns in France, and has appeared at festivals, charity events and television programmes. It can also provide product presentations and event hosting.
