Close-up and parlour magic with humour, audience interaction and over 20 years’ experience.
Mago Dragster, the stage name of Fco Javier, performs professional close-up and parlour magic. His shows mix magical effects with humour and frequent audience interaction, with formats for families, adults or children.
The act can use objects such as coins, cards, ropes, flowers, handkerchiefs, liquids and magical books. It also features appearances, vanishings and transformations. Dragster says he creates and devises some of his effects, shaping an entertaining performance in which the audience takes part.
Fco Javier has spent over two decades working as a magician. His past events include birthdays, galas, private parties, communions, weddings and theatre performances. His influences include David Copperfield and Juan Tamariz.
Close-up magic brings the performance near to guests, while parlour magic suits a show for the room as a whole. Either format may work for children’s celebrations, adult events and family occasions. Mago Dragster lives in Tenerife.
