MagiCool’s Cienzudos is a puppet musical with humour, songs and children’s participation, bringing science to life for primary school audiences.
MagiCool presents Cienzudos, a musical puppet show in a Muppets-inspired style, featuring characters from the YouTube channel El Noticiero de los niños. The story begins when the science books disappear. Link and Z set out to restore their contents, with help from the children in the audience. Their adventure puts curiosity at the centre of the action.
The show brings together original songs, visual humour, games and science outreach for primary school children. Young audience members answer questions, share ideas and help the characters as they explore the natural world and how things work. Science is woven into a stage story with original characters and playful mishaps.
Cienzudos is available as a 20-minute short set or a 55-minute full-length performance. The company has three performers: Óscar Gordon, Miguel Morell and José Angullo Cabrera. Miguel Morell is musical director, and Óscar Gordon directs the production.
