A DJ and multi-instrumentalist duo blending live electronic music, original productions, percussion, guitar, bass and keyboards.
LössandGavàche is a live electronic duo featuring French-born DJ Sebastien Pardo and Málaga musician and producer Álvaro Rosas. Their set pairs DJ mixing with live instrumentation, offering a different take on a conventional DJ performance.
The duo play original productions and combine electronic sounds with percussion, keyboards, guitar and bass. Their style ranges across techno, house, funk and tribal rhythms. In their Live! sessions, loops and samples are built into the performance as it unfolds.
Analogue percussion brings a range of textures to the set. Instruments may include shekere, sabar, djembe, congas, bongos, pailas, darbuka and timbau. The project has developed from an entirely electronic approach into a live format that also draws on acoustic percussion and other instruments.
This show suits parties looking for electronic music played live, as well as private events that want to bring a DJ and musicians together on stage. Original productions and an instrumental approach keep the focus on rhythm and the blend of styles.
