Lgand Band are a covers group performing Spanish and international pop rock classics with a punchy, contemporary live sound. Formed in 2016, the four-piece brings professional studio and stage experience, as well as work with artists including Mónica Naranjo, Albert Hammond and Carlos Baute.
The line-up features Kike Muñoz on vocals and guitar, Paco Yebra on bass, Rafa Cruz on drums and Edu Escobar on guitar. Their arrangements retain the character of the original songs while giving them a tight, energetic performance.
The repertoire spans the 1950s to the 1990s, mixing international names such as Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen, U2 and Nirvana with Spanish acts including Fito, Joaquín Sabina, Leño, Radio Futura and Los Secretos. Songs in the set can include “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Jailhouse Rock”, “Get Back”, “Heroes” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”.
From 2016 to 2022, the band played more than 200 concerts at corporate events, venues, outdoor sites, fairs, weddings, birthdays and private celebrations.
