A six-piece band playing traditional jazz and swing, with influences from the genre’s classics.
Le Gatto Swing Band brings traditional jazz and swing to private celebrations, weddings, festivals, restaurants, music venues and bars. Formed in Granada in 2022, the group brings together musicians from Granada, Cáceres, Colombia and Argentina. Their live set suits both social occasions and professional events looking for music rooted in twentieth-century jazz.
The show is built around traditional jazz and swing, with vocals, guitar, saxophone, drums, double bass and trumpet. The band performs monthly in Granada, where swing dance associations often attend. That makes the format a natural fit for events where guests may want to enjoy the music from the floor as well as the dance floor.
The musical references include Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Original Dixieland Jazz Band and Count Basie. Le Gatto is a good choice for organisers looking for a full band and a classic swing sound.
